Four Hole Junior Leagues

Our *Junior* Junior Four-Hole League is intended for 8-, 9- and 10-year-olds and is a great way to introduce young players to the game of golf. It is a 7-week season on Friday mornings with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. We are aware of the attention span of kids at this age, and this is why we only have them play four holes.

High school and college-aged staff accompany each group through their four-hole round. However, this is not an instructional golf league – our goal is to familiarize the kids with the golf course and proper etiquette, and give them an opportunity to play.

Following their round of golf, they will each receive a beverage in the clubhouse. The cost of this league is $110.00 per golfer, which includes the above mentioned, plus a Gem Lake Hills t-shirt.

Schedule:Fridays June 15th - Friday August 3rd. (No golf on July 6th.) Each week the program takes approximately one hour.

This league fills up quickly and we have limited space available so don’t wait! Our registration process is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration can be done through the mail or by stopping in at the clubhouse. Players wishing to team up together must register all players on one registration form. Please send in one registration form per group with all player names and information along with all player fees in one envelope. Include a tee time preference if needed on the registration form and mail back to Gem Lake Hills. We will pair up and combine individuals and incomplete teams.

Nine Hole Junior League

At Gem Lake Hills, our Junior Golf League provides a way for kids to improve their golf game in a laid back, no pressure atmosphere. Because we are a Par-3 course, kids do not have to feel intimidated by a long or difficult course. For the kids who are seeking more of a challenge, and are 14- or 15-years-old, there is the option of playing our executive course. There will also be an end-of-year tournament for those who are a bit more competitive and are looking to test their golf skills.

Please keep in mind that this is a participatory league, NOT an instructional league. However, we have a staff out on the course supervising and playing with the junior leaguers. Our staff is mostly high school- and college-age students who either have a background in golf or athletics.

In our league, kids ages 10 through 15, will play nine holes of golf once a week at a tee time that will remain the same throughout the summer. A putting and chipping clinic during the season is also included in the league for our junior league this year. You may choose to sign up with friends, or sign up alone and meet some new ones! Executive Course Program

9 weeks, Boys & Girls ages 13-15, Tee times from 8:45am-10:00am

Cost: $150/player
